An interdisciplinary team is working together to ensure that the central Kulturpool search portal makes Austria’s digitised cultural heritage accessible to everyone. Dedicated programmers, designers, researchers and cultural specialists have all contributed to designing the search portal. The team aggregates and maps the data, accessing it from museums, archives, libraries, and collections and bringing it together in Kulturpool. Additionally, the team operates a service centre for the transfer of knowledge and expertise to support the participating institutions.

Together with the partner institutions, the Kulturpool team works to bridge the past and the present, opening up cultural heritage treasures from Austrian institutions for discovery, exploration, and inspiration to people from around the world, all from a centralised location.
